Choosing to start or continue therapy can be one of the greatest acts of self-care. It can also be incredibly challenging to find the right fit! Not only does research support the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship, but as humans, we notice and feel the impact that it makes. My priority is to provide a welcoming and accepting environment in which you feel heard, valued, and safe to be who you are. I bring a warm and authentic style, with a focus on curiosity, exploration and trust. I am neurodiversity- and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
My view is that therapy is your time. To guide our process of partnership and collaboration, I take a humanistic, eclectic approach. As a clinical intern and final-year Master of Social Work student specializing in Direct Practice at UNC Chapel Hill, I am actively engaged in receiving education and training on evidence-based and holistic mental health theories.
My therapeutic lens pulls from a variety of modalities, including interpersonal process theory, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT, and DBT. Ultimately, I am here to provide an empathetic and attentive listening ear while encouraging your growth, empowerment, and self-discovery. If you feel we might be a good fit, I would be honored to join you in taking the next step.
